Makeademy educators guide: boosting students’ entrepreneurial skills and mindset

Makeademy activity

Makeademy Educators guide was created to help educators lead university students and/or teams through the business idea development process using our Student business idea development roadmap.

This guide will help educators facilitate processes of business idea development, creative thinking, teamwork and personal skill development.

This guide comprises the “Student business idea development roadmap” and the “Educators’ Guide”. Most of the methodologies mentioned in this guide are available for free online. There are more open resources available on the project website makeademy.eu.

This course equips learners with the skills to identify problems, generate and develop ideas, manage projects efficiently, protect intellectual property, license products, and pitch ideas for funding. By course end, students will master the product development process and the tools needed to transform ideas into successful products.
Course coordinator: VILNIUS TECH “LinkMenu fabrikas”
  2. Everything About Prototyping
This hands-on course empowers students to prototype solutions using digital fabrication technologies. Covering product design, digital fabrication, molding, casting, and electronics, participants gain practical skills and create physical projects.
    Course coordinator: Fab Lab Barcelona

Each course consists of five modules, each worth 1 ECTS credit.

This inclusive approach ensures that knowledge is readily available to all, fostering innovation and empowerment in the field of engineering.
